NBI seizes fake children's wear

Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) seized counterfeit Superman and Batman children's wear worth Php 2 million during a raid conducted in Tondo, Manila, the bureau reported yesterday.

Operatives of the Intellectual Property Rights Division raided the manufacturing facility of Bee Industries and/or Bessie located at No. 2326 Juan Luna Street, Tondo, Manila.

Seized during the raid were 3,393 Superman and Batman shorts, 3,111 Superman and Batman T-shirts, 3,185 Superman patches and logo, 6 sewing machines, 1 industrial pressing machine, and 1 cutting machine.
